Wine tasting should be fun!  Our experienced Tasting Room staff will make you feel at home, whether you’re a new wine taster or a connoisseur.  Taste from a selection of our current wines and keep your wine glass to add to your collection. You’ll learn about our wines, how we chose the varieties we grow, how they were produced and blended, the challenges we’ve faced and the adventure we’ve had as pioneers of Vermont viticulture.

TOUR

Tour our wine making facility and learn the process of turning grapes into wine.  Our eco-friendly, shingle-styled winery building is a warm and welcoming destination with Vermont’s beautiful agricultural landscape as it’s backdrop.  It was built to meet strict “green building” and energy efficiency standards.  From the rich cherry Tasting Bar, crafted locally from wood harvested at Shelburne Farms, to the copper lighting fixtures designed by a neighboring coppersmith, to the terrazo floors using local stone, the building is the perfect destination for an afternoon outing, a vacation experience or your special celebration.

Shop for Vermont specialty  foods and products.  Our retail shop features a full selection of our wines,  as well as some of our favorite local food products, gifts, crafts and books.

Our Tasting Room art gallery features a changing scene of work by Vermont artists. Gift certificates are available.Visit our Route 7 Winery and Tasting Room to taste our selection of hand-crafted wines and tour our state-of-the-art winemaking facility. Our Tasting Room is open every day of the week, all year from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, except New Years Day, Christmas Day, and Thanksgiving Day.  No reservations necessary.  Tasting Fee: $4 (includes souvenir wine glass)  Free tours throughout the day.
