Who is Reed Foehl?
Part New England folklore, part Southern charm, Grammy-nominated songwriter Reed Foehl has an innate gift for hook-laden tunes that linger for days. From traditional folk ballads to barroom sing-alongs, this tunesmith’s “emotional, deeply personal lyrics and indelibly infectious choruses…leave the listener with an overriding sense of optimism” (Glide Magazine) — something we could all use a little more of these days.
Foehl was raised in a small New England town whose folk/Americana music tells stories with a voice that pushes boundaries while paying homage to tradition. Foehl released his sixth studio album – "Wild Wild Love" – in May 2022 which was recorded with The Band of Heathens.
Dusty and patient, his music is genuine Folk/Americana. He was nominated for a Grammy Award for his song “Fly” co-written with Brent Cobb which was covered by country legend Lee Ann Womack.
With a life dedicated to songwriting and music, Foehl's five studio albums have put him on the map of the publishing world, garnering placements in both film and television, most notably the feature film “Just Friends” and popular vampire series” The Originals.”
