Songwriter Sessions with Nick Granelle, Jason Lee & Joe Adler

6pm / Free

Reservations Highly Recommended

Join three songwriters as they perform without their bands, and share songs they’ve written in a very intimate, personal way.

Brooklyn based Indie artist and producer Nick Granelle blends aspects of different genres like prog guitar and classical cello to create new unique forms of indie rock. Originally from Long Island, Nick moved to Brooklyn at 23 to pursue his music career after graduating from Purchase Music Conservatory in 2020. After graduating into a pandemic Nick decided to take advantage of the solitude and produced his first EP which has been followed by single releases. Through his music Nick explores the complications of finding his footing and falling in love during a pandemic. After a year of working on his music he linked back up with fellow Purchase Alumni to begin playing shows throughout New York City.

Jason Lee (Some Hollow, J.J. Booth, Big Benson Beaver Band) is a singer/songwriter hailing from the Champlain Islands of Vermont. His carefully curated mix of original and cover songs is sure to make your already enjoyable 1st Republic beer that much more enjoyable. Ranging from deep, tear-jerking love songs to fun jangly Irish folk songs, you will find yourself tapping your foot, checking your pulse and hugging your friends.

Honestly, Jason's real audience is the backroom of hops, grains, yeasts and chemistry. Firmly believing that music enhances the beer brewing process on the molecular and biological level, Jason will only play songs that he knows his hop and grain fans will appreciate. If you catch him staring longingly off into the brewery floor while singing, just know the feelings are completely mutual.
